Ethical trading in our supply chain
What’s the issue?
Being confident that the food and services that we purchase are not to the disadvantage or detriment of worker’s rights is a key principle that underpins our commitment to Ethical Trading. These rights can include working hours, health and safety, freedom of association and wages.
What’s our approach?
We operate on three levels of ethical trading assurance:

- We require our suppliers to register with SEDEX (the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) which is a not for profit membership organisation dedicated to driving improvements in responsible and ethical business practices in global supply chains. [See more www.sedexglobal.com].
- We require our suppliers to commit to Iglo Group’s Code of Conduct for Ethical Trading.
- We conduct audits of suppliers via a third party ethical standards service.
