On November 2nd 2015 Nomad Foods, who acquired Iglo Group in June 2015, announced the completion of the acquisition of the Southern European and Nordic businesses of the Findus Group.

Iglo Group and the Findus businesses have come together to create a new company which will become Nomad Foods Europe in early 2016. The Executive team for the new company is:

Stéfan Descheemaeker - Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Descheemaeker was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Nomad Foods and of Iglo Group on 1 June 2015. He was previously at Delhaize Group SA, the international food retailer, where he was Chief Financial Officer between 2008 and 2011 before becoming Chief Executive Officer of its European division until October 2013. Since leaving Delhaize Group SA, Mr. Descheemaeker has taken on board positions with Telenet Group Holdings N.V. and Group Psychologies, served as an industry advisor to Bain Capital and been a professor at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Between 1996 and 2008, Mr. Descheemaeker was at Interbrew (now Anheuser-Busch Inbev) where he was Head of Strategy & External Growth responsible for managing M&A and strategy, during the time of the merger of Interbrew and AmBev in 2004, and prior to that he held operational management roles as Zone President in the U.S., Central and Eastern Europe, and Western Europe. Mr. Descheemaeker started his career with Cobepa, at that time the Benelux investment company of BNP-Paribas. Mr. Descheemaeker currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Anheuser-Busch InBev, a position he has held since 2008

Tania Howarth

Tania Howarth - Chief Operating Officer

Tania joined us in April 2007 and successfully led the separation from Unilever and the creation of a standalone integrated SAP platform. Tania previously worked for some of the most prestigious branded goods companies including Coca-Cola, where she was CIO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, PepsiCo where she was CIO for the Walkers Snackfood business, Sun Microsystems ICI and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Achim Eichenlaub

Achim Eichenlaub - Managing Director, Continental Europe

Achim joined us in January 2010 as Managing Director for the iglo European markets. Achim previously worked for 26 years in Reckitt Benckiser Plc. For the last 13 years he worked as Senior Vice President Regional Director, managing first Central Europe from 1996 to 2001 followed by East Asia from 2002 to 2009.

Francesco Fattori

Francesco Fattori - Managing Director Findus Italy

Francesco joined the Iglo Group in April 2014 as General Manager for the German market. He came from Reckitt Benckiser where he worked for 16 years with different senior leadership roles in developed and developing markets as well as in the Global Category Organization. His international career took him from Global Marketing Manager Europe based in UK to Marketing Director Germany and to General Manager positions in Greece and in South Africa. His last assignment before joining Iglo Group was Senior Vice President Regional Director Africa.

Paul Kenyon - Chief Financial Officer

Paul joined Iglo Group in June 2012 from AstraZeneca PLC where his most recent role was CFO for AstraZeneca’s Global Commercial business. Prior to that, Paul was Senior Vice President, Group Finance for three years and for a period held the role of Chairman of AstraTech, AstraZeneca’s medical technology subsidiary. Paul's career includes senior finance roles at Allied Domecq PLC encompassing sales, marketing and operations and experience at Courtaulds PLC and Mars.

Andy Weston Webb

Andy Weston-Webb - Chief Commercial Officer

Andy joined Iglo Group on September 5th 2011, bringing 28 years of experience in consumer goods, working on brands such as Colgate, Mars, Snickers, M&Ms, Uncle Bens and Dolmio. He has extensive knowledge of the UK market and broad international experience, most recently with 5 years as Regional President of Mars Chocolate in Europe. During a career spanning Marketing and General Management Andy previously worked in UK, Belgium, Spain and France prior to becoming Vice President Food Europe and then Regional President Australasia.

Brian Murray

Brian Murray - Group HR Director

Brian’s time at Iglo Group spans the company’s ownership periods under Unilever, the private equity fund Permira and now Nomad Foods. He joined Unilever in 2002 and worked in the Ice Cream and Frozen Food business before moving to Unilever UK. In his time with Iglo, Brian has been HR Director for the UK and Ireland, HR Director for the Iglo Markets and is currently Group HR Director.  An MBA Graduate, Brian has extensive international FMCG experience having held roles in Sales, Marketing, Supply Operations and General Management at Coca-Cola Enterprises before focusing his career for the last 19 years in HR and Organisation Development.
